Here is my edition of do-it-yourself oatmeal cookies. Martha Stewart can bite me (in a very loved ones-oriented type of way). I make the recipe as simple and exciting as I can. I should get details for not falling into the cookie dough much more than when! LOL (okay, this is where you giggle and watch the video clip, ok?) Be aware: Much healthier possibilities are in parenthesis Ingredients as demonstrated: 3/four cup Butter (margarine, Wise Harmony) 1 cup brown sugar ½ cup white sugar (or brown) two eggs (four egg whites) 2 cups oats 1 cup water one teaspoon baking powder one/4 teaspoon baking soda ½ teaspoon cinnamon ½ teaspoon cloves 1 3/4 cups all function flour (total wheat) one/four cup chopped walnuts, raisins, chocolate chips, coconut, diced cranberries etc. *optional Include and blend components in the get outlined. Bake in preheated 375 diploma oven ten-twelve minutes. Try to eat cookies until you begin feeling dizzy.

@mediamaker2000 The French do have a high fat diet, however, they drink lots of red wine which has. This is due to a chemical in a lot of French wine. It has been shown that drinking wine high in procyanadins improved the function of the lining of the blood vessels and protected against atherosclerosis, the thickening of the artery wall.
Don’t you get enough eggs during the warmer months to have enough to store?
Have you considered either providing the hens a heated nest box to prevent the eggs from freezing in the winter? A strip of electric pipe heater should be enough to keep the eggs from freezing between being laid and when you collect the eggs. If you don’t have individual boxes for the hen that might also keep the eggs warmer.
Keep up the good work.
@libertylover52 I’d have an easier time if I could con my mom into making these for me on a regular basis.
I think you would have a lot easier time with a “pastry cutter” than a whisk.
@0xannettex0 Snow up to my buns…………yep I’m definitely loving winter. ugh. lol
Love You! (THE ENDING — don’t get creeped out, LoL!) I’m going to the store to pick up choco-chips & (pulls recipe paper away from cat ) walnuts today before work! Guess if you can why
Enjoy the Winter
I got a recipe similar to this years ago from a lady in Iowa. She called them “4-ways”, because they had oatmeal, pecans, chocolate chips and cocoa nut. They were delicious, but I had lost the recipe. Thanks for this. They look yummy.
My gran calls it “Get Smart” instead of Smart Balance. Because she can’t remember the real name. But she remembers the old tv series from the 60s.
I am going to try this recipe and send it around to my friends. I like the idea of wetting the oatmeal. thanks. I always fill my cookies with lots of stuff too. It is great.
I am drooling while watching this…. Those look so yummy, and I am having a major cookie craving O-O
Also we own the same pot holds you do.
I’ll never figure out why people eat raw cookie dough myself. I think it is gross too! But the putting of water in the dried oats first is a GREAT idea. I always make oatmeal cookies and we like them alot, but wish they could be a bit more moist, so I am gonna try the addition of water to them first. Maybe I’ll try mixing them with apple cider too. Anyway, nice vid!
@Praxxus55712
brownie dough?
@Praxxus55712
Did you know brown sugar is white sugar with the original things removed added again. So it is even more processed.
@Praxxus55712
How did you do the bow?
Very nice.
Regards, Gary
:-0 We’re always gryping about how u can find oatmeal cookies, & u can find chocolate chip cookies, but no one sells oatmeal AND chocolate chip cookies anymore! I’ve got some leftover choc chips from a failed fudge attempt. I’m gonna give this a go TONIGHT… & gonna follow the directions too (especially the last part about eating till dizzy). Too bad I don’t have any nuts in the house right now tho’–but I can rectify that later with the annual xmas bag-o-pecans I get from the in-laws.
Since you like to play video games, upload a few “Let’s Plays” on your other channel. If you don’t know what a let’s play is, type it into YouTube and enjoy.
I add a mashed banana or two to keep my oatmeal cookies soft and extra flavorful. But excellent idea on adding water to the oats.
Those are easy!
i’m writing down the ingredients now. going to eat cookies till i am dizzy =)
Yummm!!!! Looks so delicious. I’m making for Xmas.
Oh crap, this is awesome! Im sending my wife out to get the ingredients this week and with real butter of course.
Thanks for sharing Ray.
